Salat which is also spelled as Salah is the second pilar of Islam. The term Salat is also known as Namaz. These are the prayers that
are performed by Muslims facing the Qibla which is Kaabah. It is obligatory for a Muslim to perform theses prayers five times a day.
The word Zakat means "which purifies". It is considered to be second important after Salat thus is the third
pilar of Islam. Zakat is a method of giving alms to the poor stratum of society according to some rules and guidelines
that are described in Islamic teachings.
The Arabic term Sawm means abstaining from many things such as food, drink (including water),
any acts of evil, medication, any sexual activity, backbiting, harming oneself or others, smoking,
intoxication, impure thoughts, etc.
Hajj "pilgrimage" is the fifth pilar of Islam and is performed by Muslims in Makkah which is the holiest city for Muslims.
It is mandatory for all adult Muslims who are physically and financially capable of this journey and can also support their family
